GLOSSARY
We offer this glossary as a soft guide to the words we use, meant to be felt more than defined.
Ritual
A small, repeatable moment of care. Something you return to—not to perform, but to notice yourself.
Practice
An action without pressure. There’s no right way to do it—only your way, in your time.
Listening
Paying attention to what your body is asking for today. Comfort, rest, movement, space.
Cycle
The natural rhythm of change—monthly, seasonal, or over a lifetime. Not something to control, but something to respect.
Threshold
A moment of transition. Where one phase is ending and another is quietly beginning.
Comfort
More than softness. A sense of ease that allows your body to relax and be honest.
Self-Care
Not indulgence. Not fixing. Simply tending to yourself with intention and respect.
Autonomy
The freedom to choose what feels right for your body—without explanation or permission.
Pause
A brief moment to slow down. To breathe. To feel what’s happening beneath the surface.
Embodiment
Being present inside your body instead of moving through the world disconnected from it.
Feminine
Receptive, intuitive, cyclical. Connected to nature, sensing, softness, and the wisdom of listening. A way of moving that honors feeling over force.
Masculine
Focused on structure, direction, and containment. Concerned with boundaries, support, and the ability to hold steady under pressure. A way of moving that brings clarity, strength, and purposeful action.
A Note
These words are not rules.
They’re invitations.
You don’t need to understand them all.
You only need to feel the ones that resonate.
The Three Moons
How we understand change.
Waxing Moon
A time of becoming. Energy builds, curiosity awakens, and the body begins to speak more clearly. This phase reflects learning, growth, and the early shaping of self.
Maiden
Aligned with the waxing moon. A phase of discovery—learning to listen inward, to notice cycles, boundaries, and personal truth.
Full Moon
A moment of fullness and visibility. Everything is present—emotion, responsibility, creativity, connection. Nothing needs to be added.
Mother
Aligned with the full moon. A phase of holding—creation, care, contribution, and the many ways we carry life, work, and meaning.
Waning Moon
A time of release. Energy turns inward, clarity deepens, and the body asks for rest and honesty. What no longer serves is gently let go.
Crone
Aligned with the waning moon. A phase of knowing—prioritizing comfort, wisdom, and self-trust over expectation.
A Note
These phases are not linear.
They are not fixed to age.
They return again and again—through cycles, seasons, and a lifetime.
You may recognize yourself in more than one at once.
